Civics Β· American GovernmentMultiple Choice

The U.S. Constitution starts with the words β€œWe the People.” What does this mean?

Backed By Neuroscience

Four proven techniques that med students have used for decades to memorize thousands of facts. We bring the same science to US Citizenship prep.

Spaced Repetition

Review at the perfect moment β€” not too soon, not too late. We predict exactly when you're about to forget a fact and schedule it for review. This strengthens your memory with minimal effort.

Active Recall

Reading answers doesn't build memory β€” retrieving them does. The citizenship test is oral: the officer asks, you answer. We simulate that by having you type answers from memory, not pick from a list.

What is the supreme law of the land?
A. The Bill of Rights
B. The ConstitutionCorrect
C. The Declaration of Independence
D. The Amendments

Interleaving

Mix topics for deeper understanding. Rather than studying government, then history, then civics in order, we intelligently mix them. This forces your brain to make connections across topics.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many questions are on the citizenship test?

USCIS publishes 128 civics questions. During your interview, the officer asks up to 20 questions β€” you need to answer 12 correctly to pass. We help you memorize all 128 so you're ready for any combination.

Is this the 2025 version of the test?

Yes. Our cards are based on the current 2025 USCIS civics test with all 128 questions from the official study materials.

How is this different from the free USCIS study materials?

USCIS publishes the questions, but gives you no system for memorizing them. Reading a list over and over doesn't work. We use spaced repetition to schedule reviews at the perfect time, and active recall to make sure you can actually produce answers β€” just like the real interview.

How long before my interview should I start?

Most users can master all 128 questions in 2-4 weeks with 15 minutes of daily practice. Start at least a month before your naturalization interview for best results.
